COMMUNICATION SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PACKAGE

In my journey of helping children with Autism who are under the age of five, I came to realize and learn that most of the children who have not yet begun to communicate according to their developmental milestone are missing important foundational five important skills, which are: 1. Responding to their name 2. Joint Attention  3. Imitation 4. Following the instructions 5. Requesting These foundational skills are critical in the journey of learning to communicate to their full potential. As a result, I have been working behind the scenes to prepare a guide that will assist caregivers at home and schools in assisting the children in teaching these basic foundational skills. Pre-orders are being accepted for the official release in January, and the distribution will be digitally in Portable Document Format (PDF).

A good night's sleep is essential for a child's learning and development. When young people do not get enough sleep, their mood, school performance, health, and behavior suffer. A lack of sleep can have far-reaching consequences for children with neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Sleep problems affect up to 80% of autistic children. Parents commonly report dyssomnias (problems falling asleep), parasomnias (problems waking up during the night), and early morning waking. If these issues are not addressed properly, they tend to persist.
